Another Sony Handycam aardvark update. I somehow managed to dig up the name of the Burson-Marsteller PR rep that handles the Sony Handycam account. I sent her an e-mail and will let you know if I hear back from her. I'm eager to find out if the song was an original composition for the ad or if it is from an actual children's play.I also came across this webpage for the Handycam featuring a Flash video of the commercial. It's the best that I've found online so far--although it's significantly cut down from the TV version. If you play around on the site you'll find several pictures of the girl. I also found out that Sony Handycam is an official sponsor of PBS Kids, which makes me wonder if the song might be from a PBS Kids show. I'll look into this lead and, as always, keep you posted. I love this commercial too! And I just saw another commercial with the little girl in it on tv, she's in front of a Christmas tree with a grandpa and it's for some jelly I believe.
