Lately I've grown really obsessed with that Sony HandyCam commercial about the little girl in the school play. She's dressed like an aardvark and is upset because she thinks that nobody noticed her in the play. Her parents, using the magic of Sony's new optional Bluetooth microphone, show her that she was really the star of the show.
It's not the HandyCam or the microphone that I'm obsessed with...it's the song in the ad. You know what I'm talking about: "I know that you're with me...through the storm." It's annoyingly cute and has been stuck in my head for days and days. I seriously have spent a total of at least five hours googling and trying to figure out what the song is. I even tried to find an online version of the ad with no luck. Not even adtunes, my usual go-to, could help.
So if anyone has any clue where I can find out more information about this ad please let me know. My sanity may depend on it...

Yes, there is this Japanese station that my grandma watches, and that ad plays, literally, during every commercial break. I, too, would like to know what, in the name of hell, that song is. Upon Googling for "i know that you're with me", "through the storm" I come to your page. ... And to no avail, I find that you are in the exact same predicament. Funny, isn't it. ... Now only if I could get that damn song out of my head. Heck, it's not even a whole song, just one line! Please let me know if you ever find the info behind this mind-eater. Thanks.

I am obsessed with that song all day long and singing the little girly remix unconsiously with the exactly same annoying tone!! I am also seeking for the song title with my hubby. But no progress!!! If you find the song title, please make a note on your blog, I will be back! Thank you.
I've been singing that line after seeing that commercial to my new baby girl. I'm dying to know if it is a real song, so I can learn the rest to sing to her. Any updates?? Anyone??? I'm at least glad to know I'm not alone in my attachment to this commercial.
Relief at last to know I am not alone in what I initially thought was a rather unusual attachment to a Sony TV commercial. The little girl is cute, no doubt. However, it is that haunting song that I have been unable to get out of my mind. I have seen it on TPT, Twin Cities PBS, on occasion. Has anyone considered approaching Sony for help?

My now husband and I saw this commercial while we were dating and instantly fell in love with the little girl and the song. So much so that engraved on our wedding bands is "with you through the storm" as well as tattoos that we got on our honeymoon with the same quote. Obviously the quote has more significance than just a cute girl whining. It's about getting through anything together.
Glad to know there are others out there that are obsessed with this commercial as well.
